The Final Cut

This fan made video shows exactly what we were able to accomplish in such a short amount of time. There are plenty we wish we could have gotten to but as for what is in the demo currently I will say I wish I did a better job on our tape manager. The tape manager generated Actors which are the tapes and their cases. I wanted random covers but needed to communicate which were cursed or not so made arrays of material interfaces to go through one for cursed tape materials and one for clean. The number of tapes in the pool was 10 and the amount of customers you interact with is 5 so when I made the clean vs cursed tapes 50/50 we get the in game result shown in the video. Confusion as to whether the player is doing the right thing or not. Further having this player show us their feedback and playtest really showed some short sights like for one we have customers coming in before the player is done putting the tape in the return bin. This breaks the mechanics a bit because they could just accept every tape and not turn one in and win. We are in the works of making updates and fleshing out the loop to be closer to what we wanted now and look forward to sharing the updates soon.
